"I booked the hotel and then canceled it. I called the front desk for the cancellation and they told me that they would cancel and refund with a penalty. Half month later, I noticed that I did not receive the refund. I called them and contacted Expedia. But, very surprisingly they said they would not refund anything. I explained again and again what happened and what the hotel had told me before. Finally they said "

I was told we were given a very good “upgrade” to the 15th floor but it didn’t have enough beds for the people we had booked on the reservation. The fold out couch was extremely uncomfortable and we had to call housekeeping 4 times before we were brought the bedding needed for the fold out bed. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful each time we called, but I’ve never had an experience like this before with a room. "
