"Perfect location right by the beach, snorkelling area with turtles is basically on your doorstep. The bungalow was nice and cozy, the open bathroom however invited some animals into our apartment. Staff was very nice and helped us to organise diving and snorkeling tours. "

"I loved staying here! The villa is stunning and the pool was amazing. The staff were wonderful and super helpful and were always there when I needed something. They had rental bikes which made it easy to get around the island. Gili air is such a beautiful and unique place to stay. The only thing is the music from the mosque is pretty loud at 5am and would wake me up every morning. However it just made it easier to get up early and go watch the sunrise. "The villa was even better than the pictures. The villa was really spacious for our family of four. Having a private pool in our private garden was a bonus. The staff at Rimba villas went out of their way to make our visit special, even recommending local restaurants and things to do. I especially liked that they contacted me ahead of our visit to ask if I had any requests and had our bike rentals already arranged when we arrived. "

The team were exceptional - super friendly and nothing was too much trouble, be it advice on where to go, or how much things should cost for a transfer. Would recommend."
