"The property is very rural and feels very safe. Parking is easy. The buildings are a little dated but well maintained. Everything was very clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable. The room includes a coffee maker, a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, a large TV and WiFi. I particularly liked that the WiFi did not require a password. "This is one of the best B&B's I and my wife have stayed. The walk in shower is truly amazing and has a door that opens out into the private porch area and hot tub. The breakfast is really delightful and plentiful. The hosts are great people and they will leave you in peace if that is what you want. We chose to visit with them and had pleasant conversation. We highly staying here you want peace and tranquility. It is such a lovely gem in the woods! "

"Work still in progress changing it from whatever it was to a Hawthorne. Thermostat hanging sideways on wall, some caulking in room and main hallway needs to be touched up, no stopper in bathroom sink. OK for one night's sleep. Breakfast selection limited. Needs a good inspection review before calling it complete."

"The owner of the place is out there working hand by hand inside by side cleaning up all the air conditioning unit.. and I have to say he worked harder than any of these workers.. I would recommend this is a good place to stay"

"The property condition was okay, except when the remodeling was finished, the top of the refrigerator was about 1/4 thick with dust and dirt. Also, no toilet paper was present in the restroom. The check-in staff was good However they were not very accommodating when we requested additional towels."
