"Review of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel We recently stayed at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is well-maintained, and the amenities are nice overall. Rooms were comfortable, and service like turn-down was appreciated. Being on a higher floor did offer a sense of quiet above the busy city. However, the biggest disappointment was the “club floor” experience. This is not comparable to club lounges in the U.S., Europe, or even other hotels we’ve stayed at in Japan. Instead of a refined lounge with views, seating, and adult beverage offerings, it felt more like a small, casual space with light snacks, soft drinks, and a gift-shop-like setup. There were no alcoholic beverages, no elevated atmosphere, and no real place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. It was not represented accurately, especially considering the added cost. Additionally, breakfast was not included, despite being indicated as part of our booking through Expedia, which added to the frustration. Dining was another challenge. All of the hotel’s restaurants were fully booked before our arrival, with no flexibility or room for hotel guest. The concierge tried to assist, but unfortunately directed us to a sushi restaurant that was closed. Overall the price is high for what you get. I wouldn’t stay there again. "

"Ac was the same as it was across all of Japan. It wasnt cold but it wasnt hot. They had a dyson bladless fan in the room if you needed air movement. My last day i reserved a cab and the staff at the front desk was very helpful in informing me that i could check out and wait for my cab in the lobby so that i wouldnt miss the cab driver when he came to check with the front desk for my availability. Over all this is a fantastic hotel also you can get all the way to shinjuku train station underground/under roads (to avoid the rain) from this hotel. I will mention for those who are traveling to Japan for the first time from America. The room which was a single bed was just a little wider than the bed was so it can be tight for larger luggage but i had two 28" tall checked roller bags and a massive back pack with me and still felt like i was able to get around within the room ok. If i had shared the room with another person with their luggage i would say a twin bed room might have been a wise choice. The location of this hotel with its proximity to the train station (3 blocks or so, probably a half mile makes it great for tokyo tourism especially if you have a rail pass and can jump the trains whenever youd like to go see more of tokyo. "

"This hotel is in a great location, close to the MRT, restaurants, shops and sights. The staff was helpful and very understanding when I had issues (my friends left early and there was a taxi mixup). Definitely a great place to full experience the hustle of Shibuya."

"Excellent location, close to all the major sights, shops and transport links. Tucked away on a side street which was surprisingly quiet for the central location. Room had all necessary amenities despite being small which was not a problem at all ( and we had 2 massive bags!) Staff were helpful and polite . Would thoroughly recommend . We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely return."

"Wonderful hotel right in the middle of the Shinju district of Tokyo. The accommodations can bury in size. So you may want to get an upgrade to have more room. We had a small room and did just fine. Everything is up-to-date and clean and the staff is wonderful. I would definitely stay there again."
