"Close to Marina, cafes and restaurants all walkable. Nicely decorated and kept property with great views. Large bedrooms with great comfort. Luggage storage available if going to Heron Island. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend the Oaks."

"Good location close to highway for those not wanting to go all the way into Gladstone. Cabin was good just had some external damage to the outside wall that hadn't been repaired but did not impact the inside amenities which were comfortable and fit for purpose."

"One of the rooms they put us in had a damaged front door which we found out it was damaged the night before , the manger try to screw the door back together but it was busted so they not only moved us but also next door as they had there door kick. The other room was ok but had a smell and didn’t have a smoke detector just the mounting plate."

"Parking right by the unit, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very good comfortable bed, well laid out with a kitchen and bench top stove. Maintenance required in the shower area drainage as the water wouldnt drain away so we couldn't really shower on our one night stay. The property has been recently renovated and is nice, the shower just unfortunate."

"What a great hotel. The manager was fabulous. We were upgraded to a villa for the week. Spacious room and bed was very comfortable. Right next to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was grand. Thanx Liri. "

"I've stayed here a few times and usually everything is spot on. But this time it was let down by a room that could have been a bit cleaner. Used soap and shampoo in the shower, hair all over the chair and a toilet that needed a wipe down. There's lots of pluses with this place and its a shame its let down by something as easy to provide as a good clean. I usually check a room before settling in just in case but having stayed previously and it being spotless I didn't expect this. Other than that...
