Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Glasgow, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bahnhof und Geschäfte liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Straße ist belebt, am Wochenende auch nachts, aber im Hotel bekommt man davon nichts mit. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war groß und sauber, das Bad sehr modern. Ich würde wieder herkommen und es auch weiterempfehlen.

We’ve stayed once before, and that time there were no issues at all, it was lovely. This time, not so much. Upon arrival we were checked in and offered a free ‘upgrade’ to a room further from the train tracks to allow for better sleep, which was kind, but the people in the room next door were loud (shouting and banging) so we had to call reception twice, midnight and 2am, to ask them to send someone up to have a word. The pipes/ something in the bathroom made dripping noises all night to the point of me fully worrying the toilet was overflowing. The room looked lovely, but one of the pillow cases had what looked like makeup stains and we found a fake eyelash under one of the pillow cases. I made reception well aware of this when we checked out and she seemed not to care one bit. Nice toiletries and a comfy bed, but we won’t be staying again any time soon.

We paid for a "superior king" room with a river view, we were two floors up from reception and the only thing we could see out of the window was the set of train tracks. The trains on those tracks kept us up late and woke us up early and were so noisy that we requested to switch rooms to a quieter part of the hotel. Something which I have never had to do at any hotel I've stayed at before. We were then moved to a room for the next two nights at the front of the hotel which overlooked the main road. This room was even worse than the first one noise wise, we barely managed to sleep a few hours a night because of the traffic & road noises combined with issues in the room and people shouting in the hallways. The second room had a broken air conditioner/heater which made a lot of noise, the fridge was missing all the shelves and the TV wouldn't work properly. While I'm under no illusion the hotel can be responsible for noise outside, the stay was terrible because of these reasons. Considering we paid for a superior king room in an already expensive hotel we felt very let down by the quality of the rooms.

Second time we have stayed here and this time brought family we had recommend the hotel to. Only thing that could be improved is that despite adding breakfast on through Leonardos own pre-arrival email system this wasn’t documented and we were left to feel like we were trying it on by check in staff. Disappointing along with having to ask for the complementary drink that was part of our rate. Maybe Expedia can liaise so your systems align and avoid this embarrassing experience for future guests.

Have no real complaints. Room (601) was satisfactory, and I had a good comfy night's sleep. A decent sized room, with all the expected facilities - tv, tea/coffee etc.Also a good sized bathroom. Heating worked great, once I worked out how to operate the thermostat. That wasn't easy as it was hard to see the thermostat properly. Which brings me to my only real issue with the room ... I found the room to be quite dark. There was no "MAIN" ceiling light in the room - only a small spotlight in the ceiling of the entranceway. The only other lighting consisted of bedside lamps and one single floor lamp in the corner of the room near ther window. This really wasn't enough to light the room in order to see the thermostat properly, or read the information book. Basically, the side of the room where the TV, wardrobe and coffee making facilities were was just too dark to see anything. Other than that minor annoyance, I found the room perfectly acceptable.
