"Traveling from North Dakota to AZ with my dog and needed a reasonably priced place to stay, I also wanted to visit Fort Laramie. The Bunkhouse was a great place to get a good nights rest. They had great breakfast burritos, fruit, coffee, and a couple of other options. The property is older but charming, the room I stayed in was clean and free of nasty smells or stains, it had a coffee pot, microwave, and a mini fridge, along with a tv. The guy running the place was great, very helpful and kind. Guernsey itself has a couple of gas stations, restaurants, and a supermarket, it’s a small, quiet town which is my preference when traveling."

"The front desk and pool area was represented well in the photos. The rooms were awful - sink did not drain, carpets filthy, stains on the walls, bathtubs disgusting. The property is old and falling apart. The only part they keep nice is the gambling area. I wouldn't stay here if you paid me. We ended up not staying in the room due to the grossness. "

"We asked for a late checkout, which was no problem at the front desk. About 9AM, a male housekeeper tried to barge in my room. He did NOT knock first. I had the sign on the door saying do not disturb plus requested last check out. Luckily, I had the door stop/lock set. He did not apologize either. Just walked off. Pretty unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. I feel like he was looking for an opportunity to barge in on a guest. Most of the time there is a knock in the door “housekeeping” but not this time. Just wanna give people a heads up to keep their door locked because I, being a female, was in there alone and that could’ve been a very bad situation. We told the front desk and they did not seem very concerned. Additionally, terrible orange juice. "
