"Great place to stay in central downtown Goderich! Excellent location within walking distance to the local museums and restaurants. Clean room with TV, microwave, and queen bed. A little snug, but perfect for a one night stay. We had dinner at the restaurant underneath, and the staff were all friendly and attentive. Food was decent, and the drinks were good. Will stay here again if back in Goderich!"

"Room was clean. Building looked freshly painted. However there were cigarette buds still in ashtray outside of room and the entire room smelled like cigarettes and food eventhough its a smoke free motel. Reception smelled awful. Owner / manager was very rude. Personal shoes everywhere. I made the mistake of leaving a Google review before check out. When I came back to my room at night my key had been disabled so that I would see the manager and he could scold me for my review. He was very...

"It looks like that the property has updated their rooms--at least the one we were in. I have to to say this is one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in when visiting the area.
Staff was very informative during the check-in progress.
Overall we were nicely surprised by the Cedar Lodge."

"The motel is located right in the heart of goderich and everything is easily accessible. The staff was courteous and responsive. It was a pleasant stay and i look forward to visiting again. "

"It was easy to find and very quiet despite being on a relatively busy rural highway. The owners were friendly, and very accommodating. The room was clean and up to date and the property was well maintained. Great for an overnight stay and we would stay there again."

"Quaint boutique historical property. Very clean with unique furniture. Reception staff efficient and friendly. don’t forget to ask for a bucket of ice. No fridge. Wrap around porch gives all season view of Main Street with excellent food and extensive drink menu. Two indoor restaurants and new bar to choose from all with caring staff. A peaceful oasis."
