"It was alright. It’s like you’re camping with a safe place to stay. You should bring your own firewood otherwise they will charge you. But there is a lot of sticks and wood laying around you can use if you pick it up yourself. The power went out so we didnt have lights at night, but it was an adventure. I would go again later in the summer. It’s not a luxurious experience but if you’re adventurous and like to do random things you will have fun. The horses were not there yet. It was a 3/5 for...

"Love staying here. Hadn't stayed in a few years so can see the wear and tear over the years but still a fantastic experience! The staff friendly, view of the pool and mountains. Travelled with my husband and a friend. She slept on the sofa bed. No complaints. Love visiting the hill for a quick beverage I sorta during ski season or outdoors during the warmer months. The price was perfect for a quick stop over so was happy to book at the Sutton!"

"It is beautiful and so peaceful. They have chairs down by the lake which made for a nice place to sit and look out at the lake. The pools were soothing and the view from the pool was stunning. The staff are accommodating and friendly. They all went above and beyond. The cabin so cute and cozy. Love the barbecue work well and made a delicious dinner. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. They have a cute little lake walk trail that has a little stream. Beautiful greenery and flowers."

"It’s a beautifully sited hotel right on the lake - we hiked, had dinner there two nights and it was lovely even in the rain.
Staff are superb
My only critique is breakfast time only one restaurant open -it was mobbed so much we left- they do offer room service but that didn’t work as we were packed up to leave.
Other option for to go items - mobbed by people not staying there.
So … summary: great hikes - go early lots of hikers. lovely dinners ( we had way advance reservations)
