"From check-in time to the time I got in my room it was close to an hour. There was no parking available in the hotel's underground parkade, nor was there nearby street parking. We were directed to a spot a few streets away, but there was no parking there either. I was told I would have to pay for overnight parking and that was a little ways away in another direction. When I got back to the hotel and tried to find room 127, I went on a wild goose chase down several hallways without any success. When I went back to the lobby, I was told that he didn't understand why I had trouble because no one else had ever had trouble finding the room. I went back upstairs to try again and discovered that the reason for the confusion was that the numbers were missing on the direction sign. It was impossible to figure out without guidance. I don't appreciate the desk clerk's dismissive attitude towards my difficulties, and he begrudgingly gave help it seemed. I found the hotel to be quite noisy. We could hear people talking loudly through the windows after midnight. As well, the sound of doors slamming and furniture being shifted was annoying. I am a tourist here in the Netherlands and this was a hotel I would not recommend. "

"The hotel is very beautiful. It is located in the middle of lush green nature. If you want to reach the lively parts of the city, you need to walk, which can be quite challenging if you visit in winter. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel, but in my opinion it is unnecessarily expensive. Therefore, I would recommend traveling when the weather is nice"

"We were very happy with our stay. The room is cosy, spotless and very functional. The room and check-in worked well, the staff were accommodating and friendly. On-sight parking is available and we were able to park across from our room. We visited family so didn't get the chance to use the restaurant but it looked good. Suggestions for improvement would be: TV instructions in other languages than Dutch, a small heater in the living room or the possibility of lighting the fireplace (it got chilly in the room for those sleeping on the sofa) and a bathroom door/enclosure."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel - Piet was so very helpful and friendly. They contacted us before our stay to welcome us; the room was ready when we arrived; the amenities were great. The hotel is very quiet and only about 2 km away from the castle. The hotel let us use their bikes to travel around the area. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you Piet and Marianne!"
