"We enjoyed our stay at this quaint hotel just inside the old city walls, a short walk from the inexpensive public parking lot P1. Onsite parking is also available and you can drive right up to the hotel to drop your luggage. The included breakfast buffet is OK if not outstanding. "It’s all about location and ambience with Goldener Hirsch. The comfortable rooms lend a cozy intimacy and their breakfast room has stunning views of the valley. The breakfast was laid out with everything you could possibly want. I stayed here in 1995 and when we finally were able to come back I would not stay anywhere else! The GH team really took care of us, we couldn’t be happier. Thank you once again!!"

"Getting into the hotel was an absolute nightmare because it requires online check-in to obtain an access code. Never in my worldwide travels have I encountered a hotel without a receptionist or an attendant. No elevator to access upper floors but a very squeaky winding staircase that is unsafe to descent on with a large and heavy suitcase. Ergo, left mine in car.
