"Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. "The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay.
