The desk is unstaffed, and there are only a few custodial staff available throughout the day. The refrigerator and freezer in our room didn't work, there was no dish soap to use for the few things in the kitchen. Thank goodness the place wasn't expensive. Really the only redeeming factor, other than great location.

Room was warm, no aircon, couldn’t open any windows, we had a room for 3 people, the third person had to sleep on a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable, otherwise good breakfast, good location and quiet area, we enjoyed our stay

Overall good value for the price.

Reception was friendly, check-in was fast and easy. The hotel is self-service for the most part, which makes it very easy to come in, go out and check-out. The rooms were basic, but clean and nice. The pillows are not good, bring your own if you’re picky about that. The breakfast lady was very grumpy and rude to many of the guests. Avoid asking questions there. Location is great. Remember to pay for parking, there is no free hotel parking.

Terrible experience. No curtains in the room on the ground floor, keys didn't work properly, reception only availible by telephone. Go somewhere else if you want a nice hotel. No response on complaint, realy bad service.

I regret staying at this hotel Stayed for three days. No room cleaning during my stay. Reception was never open eventhough there was a note that said it would be open limited hours! Check in via phone. The interior of the room looked good at first impression but there was dirt and dust under the bed. Necessities like soap and schampoo were provided. The safety box did not work. Sewer smell from the bathroom. Felt empty and unsafe with staff present except during breakfast. The hotel has potential with the beautiful location and charming old building. I found begbugs in my bed my last night, was provided another room. Hotel not responding with email regarding complaints. Not worth the price.

Avoid the Eriksberg-apartment on the toop floor

Do avoid the "Eriksberg-apartment" on the top floor. I got this room for $240 for 1 night. The city had almost no room available so it was supply and demand so I took it. But I will, however, never come back. There is no charm what so ever in this apartment. The walls are hospital white, the floor has a platic carpet which was very popular in the 80's, dead flies here and there, smelly bathroom, shower with visible black mold. As the roof is angled, the blinds is not much use so you'll wake up around 2-4am in the summer as there is no darkess in the room. The other rooms are probably much better although I haven't seen them. I just think they saw the opportunity to rent out this apartment as the demand was high. The only good thing with my stay was that the staff was great.

Check in was terrible. The only marked entrance to the hotel, eith the logo and a sign leading to it, is locked. Check in instructions per mail did not specify the hotel would be unstaffed. Spent 20 minutes outside in 15 minus degrees looking for a way to enter. Finally found the open door on the other side, were met by a checkin machine that didnt accept our recervation number and two closed reception. When finally in our room it was dirty, the tables and desk hadnt been cleaned and had visivle dust and little pieces of trash on them. All the furniture and floors have many stains and marks of wear on them. The bathtub was broken without possibility of opening the drain. The room was FREEZING, we didnt bring pyjamas for a one nighter away and had to sleep fully dressed in our outer wear clothes to get any sleep. We got twin beds despite wanting a double and were never asked our preference for this. Its a pity, because the furniture and design and location could have made it an amazing hotel had it been run properly.

Do not recomend this hotel

We were disappointed with our experience to say the least! When we arrived at 4:00 p.m., there was no one at the reception and we had challenges getting hold of someone on the phone. When we did get checked in, we got to a room that was nowhere near what was presented on Hotels.com. The room was prepared but not clean by any standard. We had to wash surfaces on tables etc. to be able to use these. The room smelled bad and had a number of flaws: - The beds had sheets that were full of holes and stains. - All surfaces in the room were full of dust. - Tables in the room were dirty. One table in the room was broken/defective, so that the tabletop fell off. - The bathroom was very poorly cleaned. Stains and generally poor cleaning of floors and a shower that was so poorly cleaned that we considered it unusable. - Hot and cold water on the tap in the barhroom had been reversed, resulting in that one of our children burned himself when he was washing his hands. - The floors in the living room were so dirty that we didn't want to store our things on them. - One of the beds had one corner that was lower than the others, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. - the door to the room was very difficult to close because it was too tight.

Sämsta hotellet någonsin

Vi bodde 3 nätter på Hotell Villan och vi avråder alla från detta hotell. Följande är saker som vi lämnade in som klagomål. 1. Vägglöss: En i sällskapet blev biten av vägglöss och vi har sett spår av vägglöss på vår tredje natt, svarta prickar. 2. Kyl och frys i pentry fungerade inte: Kylen och frysen i pentryt fungerade inte och vi fick använda den lilla minikylen. Därmed blev flera av våra livsmedel dåliga. 3. Kaffe och te fanns inte i allmänna utrymmen enligt beskrivning 4. Daglig städning utfördes ej enligt beskrivning 5. Golvvärme i badrum fungerade ej 6. Ingen ventilation 7. Toalettsits var trasig Vi har hört av oss till fyra olika mailadresser där alla mail studsar tillbaka (det finns alltså ingen mottagare). Vi avråder alla från att använda detta bedrägerihotell.

très décevant. Dommage car bel établissement

Séjour du 25 juillet au 1er Aout 2025. A mon arrivée le vendredi à 16h la chambre n'était pas faite. La femme de ménage, me dit de revenir 15 mns plus tard; A mon retour je constate que seuls les draps et serviettes ont été changés : le ménage n'a pas été fait.(voir photos). Beaucoup d'appels à la réception qui n'est pas sur place J'ai eu des personnes différentes à chaque fois qui ne communiquaient pas entre elles. On me certifie que le ménage a été fait! On refuse un remboursement (non prévu au contrat). J'ai acheté des lingettes pour nettoyer moi-même. J'ai dû attendre le lundi pour avoir une chambre, propre ( la dame du petit déjeuner n'était pas informée ; j'ai attendu des heures dans le hall, sale aussi) Hôtel . com que j'"ai eu plusieurs fois au téléphone a été incapable de gérer le problème : ils m'ont fit qu'ils allaient voir pour un changement d'hôtel mais finalement cela n'était pas possible car cela est réservé au situations plus graves; Ils m'ont proposé un dédommagement de 29€ à valoir sur une prochaine réservation!(j'ai refusé). Pas d'accueil :il n'y a que le femmes de ménage et la dame qui s'occupe des petits déjeuners et du ménage aussi : très gentilles. Ce problème de propreté est important et l'absence de réception, aussi. C'est dommage car l'hôtel est sympa, bien situé(au bord de l'eau : ferry et bus pour le centre ville, à 100 mètres; compter 20mns de trajet). Bons restaurants tout proches. Quartier vraiment agréable.
