This was simply a charming inn. The entire place was spotless, comfortable and the location was great! You can walk to all of the interesting features in town.

The property was interesting the room was clean, but there was no stuff to help when you got there. The entrance was very small, but the room itself was clean.

Checking in is a problem, particularly for people who do not have Internet access everywhere they go, or are not IT saffy. Another guest helped us to get the address and pick up a card so we could enter the facility. In the room was a note that you could pick up an access card elsewhere, which has no purpose at all as you cannot read this note until you are in your room. This note should be posted at the entry door in clearly readable letters. Orange notes on a white background are difficult to read.

Het gebrek aan versnaperingen was niet handig. Gelukkig was er een thais restaurant nog bereid om toch nog wat eten te bereiden. Verder was er buiten wat snoep niks verkrijgbaar.

Prima verblijf! Ging wel wat lastig met de digitale sleutel. Lukte niet om de kamer in te komen, maar we konden prima iemand hierover bereiken en goed geholpen. Bedden waren heerlijk! Kleine kamer, maar alles aanwezig. Koffie en thee in de centrale hal.

The hotel has no front desk, which would not be a problem normally. However, our digital keys stopped working during our stay and our room was missing toilet paper. We ended up having to walk twice to a partner hotel nearby to get a new key and toilet paper. On a another note however, the hotel is located nearby the city center.

El establecimiento es mal aislado y mal acondicionado. La habitacion estaba a 33.5C por la noche. Hay un problema de climatización, llavé para informar y pedir una solución y me sugirieron abrir las ventanas y la puerta de la habitación a ver si entraba aire, muy mal.

Kamer was klein en dat was ook bekend. Maar door het schuine dak kon je bijna nergens rechtop lopen. Behalve voor de kleding kast en een kast waar de wastafel in weg gewerkt zit. Douche en toilet zitten achter het bad maar je krijgt de deur niet helemaal open omdat deze tegen het bed aan komt. Matrassen vind ik erg zacht.

Nice little place but having no receptionist and having to deal with someone by phone when you are a foreigner with possibility to make local call is less than desirable. But WORSE than that was the 34 degrees in the room with no AC available and only a fan with a short extension cord !! The room was a sauna all night. So be warned if it is hot outside (as it is now in Europe), do not go there especially than their asking price for a room is no better than other hotels with more amenities

De kamer was erg schoon en netjes. Het bed was goed opgemaakt en comfortabel. Het hotel was makkelijk te bereiken en je krijgt je sleutel via je telefoon, zodat je snel en gemakkelijk toegang hebt. Ik hoefde de keuken niet te gebruiken, maar het zag er goed uit als je iets wilde koken. Ik was erg tevreden over mijn verblijf en zou The Guest House zeker aanraden.

Great place in the old city centre of Gouda. Very small room, but that is normal in the Netherlands, especially in the historic centre of a city. Affordable parking was a five-minute walk away from the hotel. This place is extremely computerized and you need to be up-to-speed on technology, there are no staff present at all, and no reliable phone contact with staff, just an AI chatbot. With me not being great with technology, and not receiving emails or QR codes on my cell phone, I had serious problems checking in, and there are no staff present. Fortunately an employee came by just as I was struggling (and failing) to check in, not having a QR code on my phone, etc. There are employees at a "sister property," another hotel not far away, so they gave me a plastic "card key" that I used for the next three days. Apart from check-in problems (which you could say are my own fault) it was great. I do wish that they would state more obviously and clearly on their website (and Expedia website) "we have no staff present at the hotel, you need to have a QR code on your phone".

De accommodatie kwam niet overeen met wat er op online staat. Erg kleine kamers met 1 stoel en geen eens een bijzet tafel. Voor 2 personen is dit erg minimaal, je bent verplicht om op bed te gaan zitten. Zonder verder uit te wijden, het voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen.

The Guesthouse check-in was frustrating to say the least. We didnt recieve our digital roomkey until 7:42pm nearly 5 hours after check in time. By then we had to find another property where we could pick up room card keys. It was very stressful as there is no where to store luggage before check in. Three days after checking out and the Guesthouse is still trying to get us to pay for a digital card that we never even used once. Im incredibly disappointed.

Tant que la Guest House n'améliorera pas le service d'enregistrement, je ne peux pas donner une note supérieure à horrible. Je suis arrivé à 30 degrés + chaleur après une marche de 2,5 km. La serrure QR ne fonctionnait pas. Le téléphone pour appeler ne fonctionne pas. Un invité a dû me laisser entrer. Il avait aussi le même problème. Mon assistante à Paris a appelé le site qui lui a dit que je possédais 2,88 euros pour la taxe locale, d'où la clé qui ne marchait pas. Aucune mention de cela dans l'email. J'ai payé cela puis je suis allé à l'hôtel voisin pour récupérer la clé. Encore une fois, aucune mention d'indications pour y arriver. Environ 1 heure pour s'enregistrer. Tout ce qu'il faut, c'est un simple e-mail donnant des instructions claires et des explications. Même si la salle était excellente, je n'y retournerais pas par principe.
