"I was a little disappointed with my stay at Southcamp, especially as the many positive reviews were what initially drew me in. "It was truly serenity living in the woods, hotel staff at reception were nice and friendly. Breakfast spread were decent but note it’s cabinet stuff instead of hot meals. Only downside were housekeeping, our rooms were not vacuumed throughout all nights. Other than the jacuzzi tub and comfortable bed, the hotel could use some refurbishment to freshen up the whole experience. One downside will be the lack of kitchen sink where you will need to do all refilling and washing with the small toilet...

"The outside and common area of the property was generally well looked after and the Nespresso pod in the dining area was appreciated. The facilities to cook and prep food were great as was the use of the laundry. Fresh towels were provided everyday. Honestly, even though it was generally a lovely stay, the bedroom/ensuite/ kitchenette was a little bit tired. Also, I could hear the guy snoring very clearly in the room next door. Overall, my travelling buddies enjoyed the stay. Thanks "

"Staff were lovely. Room was very noisy with furniture being moved in the room above us. First, occupants scraping chairs on the floor (dining table I presume) then cleaners in the morning moving furniture / beds to clean. No room service to apartments that you pay a hefty rate for. You have to go and pick up your meals yourselves. Wouldn't stay again for the price. Not value for money despite the reputation. "

"Clean room but ancient bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe by the beach was excellent and well used by everyone. Pub food in resort was nice. Great place to just hang out as well. A bit of a drive into Margaret River but ok if you have a car. "

"A real gem of a place- spacious villa and perfectly located. Is very dated and needs a refurb but the price is right and we didn’t mind. Be careful about the live bands playing all weekend as not suitable for families with young kids. We will go back for sure! "
