We had a week in the sun coupled with sightseeing. The Alhambra is the main attraction but the street life, parks and gardens, history and tapas were all fantastic. We were here when the temperature was between 35-40 so get somewhere with a pool!

The Alhambra is such a beautiful palace and buying tickets ahead of time to the Nasrid Palaces is so worth it! If you're going in the summer, go early morning as the temperatures in Andalusia rise very quickly and stay high for the entire day

The old section of Granada is amazing, but the modern part of the city is a bit run-down and unattractive. On our walk from the train station towards the hotel, we encountered dirty streets, sketchy individuals, and graffiti everywhere.

Granada was all about the Alhambra and the Albaicin neighborhood. It's a really cool city but it was not the easiest to navigate. The Albaicin is a little bit of a maze, the cobblestone is not easy on your feet, and it is very steep.

Probably the most beautiful city I have visited. Snow capped mountains beyond the Alhambra, and so many little squares, spires and tabernas. Friendly, great food, scenic, perfect city holiday location.

Attending a flamenco theatre was amazing! The cave houses were interesting (at the end of a steep uphill walk!). Do not miss the Alhambra if you have never been (book in advance!).
