"We had a king sized room on the second floor. Comfortable bed. Amazing views of the lake plus it was lovely to have a balcony with outside seating. It was easy to control the heating. Good self service breakfast."

Mattresses were comfy but the single beds felt very narrow also the legs of the bed were angled out and because of the dark colour too, a few stubbed painful toes! Food was a bit on the pricey side £8 for a portion of sweet potato fries! Breakfast was nice, enough choice. And the shower was nice and powerful. "

The rooms are spacious and clean. We were given a complimentary upgrade this trip to a larger room but the standard ones feel spacious and luxurious anyway. We didn’t have breakfast on this visit but it has been excellent when we have had it in the past."
