Room (2 queens w/sofa bed) was good enough. Extra blanket in closet was not in zipped plastic but guessing it should've been clean? The blanket provided for the sofa bed (in plastic) had a stain on it but maybe it wouldn't wash out? The room was great amount of space and good set up. Can tell it was well used (patched floor board, a few carpet stains, etc.) and disappointing missed details (a piece of kibble behind the bathroom door upon check in but we didn't bring a pet, water or toothpaste spots on the sink faucet, smudges on the door handles). I would not expect these to get missed with any routine cleaning. The bed was kind of soft so I didn't sleep great but probably more of a personal preference. Overall good enough.

The property needs some work. It looks maintained on the outside and lobby but walking down our hallway the carpet is worn and there is an almost offensive smell. We noticed some air fresheners in the outlets. Not sure what scent is was but it's strong and HORRIBLE! Thankfully it didn't smell that way in our room. The room was okay aside from the big black swirls of scratches in the vinyl floor in one area of the room and a big scratch that's been filled in with caulk down the middle of the shower along with hairs from the last guests. The bed was pretty comfortable though and since we were just passing through it wasn't that bad. I wouldn't want to stay more than one night.

The breakfast was the bare minimum, not great. Found a bug in our bed, though they did give us a new room. The elevators smelled a bit rank.(Probably because there was always dirty pool water pooling up the floors, which no one cleaned. Ever) Not the best stay but if you just need a place to lay your head only, you should be fine. I just won’t be personally booking with them again.

Overall, everything met a good standard, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The only thing I expected a little more from was the breakfast. During this stay, the breakfast selection was very limited and felt below the standard I’ve experienced at other La Quinta locations. Perhaps it’s just due to this particular location. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

So the Washer failed when I was there and wouldn't accept coins. The Front desk person did refund the lost change, but I was able to make do without the washer by washing the clothes myself and using the dryer.
