Williams is an excellent place to travel from to access the grand canyon national park. The star hotel is located on the riad oyt of town to the park. It took one hour exactly. The host was welcoming and room very clean.

Parking was free and on site. For the price it was an ok place to sleep for the night. No free breakfast, but they did have a mini fridge & coffee pot in the room.

When we first researched for accommodation in Williams AZ, people rated it 9/10 but not what we experienced. The property indeed is located on the main street and the location is good. Parking is ample. The front desk staff was curt and it felt unfriendly to us. The room was small containing a small fridge with the setting knob missing, a small TV screen, a small microwave, a few drawers, 2 nightstands, and wifi which we did not use. Now the problems: the carpet was filthy in our room, with black stains across, food crumbs between the bed and the nightstand, only 1 socket for charging and perhaps 2 USB outlets on the lamp on one side of the bed, 1 small window, other electrical outlets are located by the other end of the wall next to the airconditioner that is far from the other nightstand. The sink is located at the corner of the room outside the tiny bathroom. The airconditioner was very dusty as the screen/filter and grill had not been cleaned for a while. The small AC would go on for a while and be off. The floor board squeaked and uneven, not solid ground. The bed was very soft so not amenable to people who have back problems. There was no security latch other than the electronic door lock with deadbolt inside (sort of). There was only 1 chair by the small table off on the far end of the room. There were no other amenities within the property that we were aware of. One thing is true: you get what you pay for.

I would recommend this hotel as a stay for a short day trip. It has everything you want in a compact space. Its location is good, and it's especially pretty clean! If you just want a cheap place to stay before going to the Grand Canyon, I would highly recommend it!

Great location for walking the downtown area. Recent remodel room was very clean and the bed comfy. Bathroom is a little small but not a deal breaker for the money. would stay here again.

The room was very small. It had everything we needed for a one night stay. They provided a very nice extra blanket when requested. The bed was hard, and there was a metal bed frame that made a lot of noise when you moved, the pillows were very flat and the property needs a lot of work. We will not stay again.

Property was nice very much under renovation at the time of our stay. Few complaints found an old wash cloth under the vanity in the bathroom the lamp shade was falling apart and was held together with staples and tape we rented a room with 3 beds that had 2 rooms separated by a door great for families unfortunately the extra room had zero ability for climate control no AC no heater so the room was freezing at night. Overall I’d still say it’s a decent place to stay not the worst not the greatest

This property needs to finish their renovations to the rooms before renting them out. The bed was nice, there were new fixtures in the bathroom but overall it needed to be finished. It seemed dirty because they didn't have any floorboards and it showed the old/dirty walls behind them. Carpet was old...the renovation crew is there early in the morning so that's the first thing you hear is construction. I'm sure it will be great when they're done, but call first to see if it's finished before you stay.

It is an older hotel but the rooms have been renovated and very clean. Manager in the office was welcoming and very nice. Easy walk to all attractions, shops and restaurants in Williams.

While small and older, the room was clean, smelled nice and the owner was nice and responsive. The town of Williams is an awesome throw back to Route 66’s heyday.

Room was clean and nice, great location. Only downside was the people staying above us were extremely noisy. It'll be best to get a room with no second floor above, or better yet stay on the second floor lol.

This is an adequate, rudimentary lodging if you just need a place to sleep when traveling through Williams. The lobby/office was undergoing some kind of construction and was a mess with drywall powder everywhere. The man who checked us in was nice enough but gave two of us the same room. (Fortunately, it wasn't sold out, so we got another room. My wife likes to describe small enclosures as "not big enough to swing a cat around by the tail without getting hair in your mouth." The shower in my room was not big enough to swing a mouse around by the tail without getting hantavirus. We were told to check out by putting our room keys in the box on the office door. That was a mailbox with mail in there. Very strange operation.
