Quit and convenient with restaurant and market close by. Perfect place to stay night before backpacking into the Canyon.

We stayed at Yavapai for three nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. The room is clean, quiet, and spacious. Super easy parking for guests. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend it for visiting Grand Canyon!

I have been to the Grand Canyon three times now, and each time I stayed at a different lodge inside the park. My previous two accommodations were near the south room, where is this one is a good 15 minute shuttle ride from that part of the park. This gave the location a really woodsy and peaceful vibe. I loved that the main lodge building had a restaurant, at which I ate twice, and that I could also walk to the supermarket inside the park from the hotel. All in all a very good experience.

It was wonderful being able to stay so close to the Grand Canyon. Wonderful hotel and staff. There is a microwave available 24 hours in the building where checking in. Be aware food options get slim after 8pm.

Excellent place to stay close to the Grand Canyon - comfortable rooms, peaceful setting - only glitch was no wifi in the rooms, only in the reception/restaurant building (but got good cell service in the rooms)

The location is right next to the Grand Canyon visitor center and away from cities buzz. There were elks hanging out right next to our car parking so overall perfect experience. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Very good location, can walk to Visitor center and the Mather Point. Friendly staff, large dining area. The bed itself was on uncomfy and second floor was a bit noisy. Will come back for sure!

Really comfortable bed!! Easy to get to anywhere with just a short walk to the nearest free bus stop. Lots of parking in front of the lodges. Rooms aren't very noise proof, however. Overall, it was excellent, though! Elk graze all around. It's beautiful.

There is no microwave in the property. There is a supermarket here, which is great.

Great location, great staff. The food on premises is awful though and crazy overpriced. We atayed on the ground floor and could here every footstep made upstairs.

We were in the room next to one of the entry exit doors. Sounded like people we opening the door to our room. Didn’t sleep all night. Almost everything was closed or being renovated.

My second time staying and absolutely love it! My only recommendations would be to ensure you have proper wifi for your TV's to actually work in the rooms as well as offering bag service to folks since there are no elevators. Those stairs can be brutal with a large amount of heavy luggage!

Springs in bed made noise when you moved and were uncomfortable and likely needed replaced. AC was noisy. Water faucet sink in bath was high pressure / low volume type that misted water everywhere. Hot and cold supplies were reversed as well on the sink. Interior hall to room had a couple of fold up bed cots appeared to be stored there as they never moved during our stay.

Front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Staff seems happy everywhere we went. We were in a recently renovated room - nice decor for a motel style room! We were here 7 yrs ago and are impressed. Would recommend

I am writing this review knowing fully well that lodges at or near Grand Canyon are not like your typical hotels but with basic necessities. We checked in late. The person in the front desk seemed quite not very helpful. The rooms are spread out and the directions we got to go to our room were not helpful and it took nealry 15 mins of driving around to find the correct room. Keep in mind that once it is dark there are no street lights and it's pitch dark. Calling the front desk was not helpful as nobody was picking up. And once we got into the room it had a quite a bad odor which didn't go away. Did try to call the front desk and no one answered. Knowing that our stay was for one night only we just slept and checked out.

Overall Yavapai and the Grand Canyon Village in general are great for visiting the area. Unfortunately when we were there a restaurant at Yavapai was under construction but solid options exist very close by. No wifi in the rooms is quite an unusual but minor limitation.

This lodge was great. It was a massive property, fully booked lodge when we visited in April. Very accessible to trails, shuttles stop at the property. Cleanliness could be better, but very comfortable rooms! Blackout curtains were great, lots of dining options on the property.
