My husband and I were in Grand Forks for our daughter’s graduation from UND. She hadn’t thought to iron her graduation gown. The staff loaned me an iron and a hanger for her gown. They were really pleasant and accommodating. They also gave us local restaurant recommendations.

Was somewhat appalled when we arrived. The photos did not show the area which seemed rather sketchy. The room was obviously not well-cleaned. Accumulated dust on things like the higher horizontal surfaces (picture frames, shower), and a slight unpleasant smell. We did not stay the night. Took photos, reported it to the manager, and canceled our reservation through Expedia, and re-booked a different hotel.

The walls in room 201 need to be washed. included in the bathroom. The tv's are a bit small, and ours seemed to not work. Marijuana smell suffocated the halls, and it was a bit noisy now and then.

The room had a really bad smell. The fridge was unplugged and had a different bad smell. When we plugged the fridge in it had a loud noise when the compressor came on that was loud enough to interfere with our sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable and old. The bathroom had another bad musky smell to it. Our bath tub would drain slowly when taking a shower so you are standing in a few inches of water. Good water pressure though

The staff were excellent! I would not stay here again though. The room stank really bad - old cigarettes and like the toilet wasn't flushed or something. The shower was clogged and i was ankle deep in water by the time i was finished and the bathroom fan was covered in dust. There was noticeable grime and dirt in the edges of the wall too - as though it wasn't vacuumed properly

Not enough parking spaces. The motel needs a bad renovation. Paint coming off the walls. Coffee pot didn't work. Everything in the room was old, even the heater/ac unit. Could not charge 2 things in one outlet. Was glad we didn't spend that much time there. I don't like giving bad reviews, but it needs some attention..

Went to visit my son in college and my review is influenced by how happy I was with him and his surroundings. This hotel is looked down on by many who attend the UND campus, but I booked it anyway and was glad I did. It was more affordable and acceptable. A no frills option that for the most part did what I needed it to do for 3 days. Toilets need to flush with more force, rooms need more light, but free breakfast was acceptable. Exterior raises more questions than necessary! Acceptable at $99/night. Thanks!

The worst place to stay in Grand Forks
Was the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. We booked a 2 night stay for family weekend at UND to spend time with my daughter. The smell inside the building and room was absolutely horrible and it was a smell of human urine, the room was dirty the bathroom had the smell of mold. Everything about this hotel was dirty and way below standards, i wouldn't let a dog sleep in that place let alone a person. My credit card wasn't supposed to be charged until check in and it was charged at 8am, 10 minutes after I received a call stating that they needed to change my room do to a issue in the building regarding a foul smell. When i got to the hotel at 9:30pm i asked why my card was charged and the answer was to guarantee i got a room. So i asked why was a deposit charge the day i booked the room if that wasn't going to guarantee me a room and the desk worker had no reason as to why. I was apparently given a refund but that has not shown up on my account as of yet.

It a place I’d ever recommend. Our 1st room they gave us was still full of a guests things that they said had checked out and it was cleaned but neither were correct and the second room right next door the guest had checked out but hasn’t been cleaned at all so we staid at a different hotel.

People would stand infront of guest windows and smoke. When asked to go to smoking area they got upset. Room had a musky smell so window needed be cracked open.

Friendly employee, place was clean and easy to access. Unfortunatly some of the appliences like the hairdryer and the coffee machine was broken, they offer to replace. Good place to stay short term

Not a good place if you are used to descent hotels. This is an old somewhat run down hotel. Hallways smelled…rooms were clean, but well worn
