"The location was very convenient to Notre Dame and the Louvre. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The lady who managed the location was friendly and very responsive (but note to travelers that she speaks only French). One star deducted on the property only because the staircase was not well lit and it was not immediately apparent where the light switches were. "

"We landed in Paris early in the morning, and they were able to let us check in early. Even if we hadn’t gotten to check in early, they could hold the luggage for us. "Chez Pepe Merle is fantastic! Room was beautiful, hostess Clair is great and the location close to various metro lines is very convenient. We stayed 2 weeks and had another breakfast with different plates every day; a nice touch."
