"Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! "

"Location was good. Check in process was easy. The beds were comfortable. I don’t prefer to degrade but I also want to be honest though. The room was falling apart. There is obvious water damage. Drywall was falling off walls and ceilings. Several old patches. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed and bathroom were mostly clean, but the carpet was full of hair and probably hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were several spider webs on the walls and stains on part of the comforters....

"Unser Zimmer, seitlich mit eingeschränktem Meerblick war sauber, sauberes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Direkt vor der ZimmerTür die Kaffeemaschine, die kostenfrei Kaffee spendierte, die allerdings um ~4:30Uhr morgens sich mit einem Klackern kurz meldete. Das Personal durchweg freundlich, wenn auch der Mann an der Bar den einen Abend etwas brummig war. Britisch/Schottisches Buffet-Frühstück mit teils frisch zubereiteten Bestandteilen z.B. Porridge. Als Startpunkt für die Erkundung der Umgebung...

"The sleigh bed and size of the bed was nice. It can be hard to find this in Scotland. I wouldn’t say Elgin was our favorite spot in our 2 weeks in Scotland, and this hotel was average with a cool old feel. The breakfast was nice. The shower and room a little outdated but suited our needs for one night. Probably not a spot I would stay for more than one night. Parking was easy, check in was easy. "

"This hotel is a gem. Although the building is older, the room was spotless, updated, and everything was in perfect working order. The restaurant cooked an excellent breakfast to order and the Italian dinners were authentic and delicious. To top it off, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, it was a 5 minute walk to both the downtown and the beach. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat. "
