"Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. "Food at the Inn arrived incorrectly, and tasteless. It was removed from the bill. When we entered our room the toilet seat almost fell off when moved. The heater in the room was broken. We used the hotel pool facility. The changing rooms were dirty. Dirty nappies in the swimsuit dryer. Sauna out of order. Broken drains on the jacuzzi. "Excellent location, staff is lovely. Hotel is very clean in all areas but could do better with room cleaning. We had to remind to clean ours couple of times even after putting the sign on the door. When we came back, it seemed like being done in a rush. Bed was made but pillows were not neatly kept. It was overall good but would have expected better from a 4 star property.
