"We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. The location is excellent if you want to visit Acadia. The bed was very comfortable. The electricity, AC, TV and plumbing worked. There were no bugs in the rooms and we felt safe. But the pictured room was nothing like the very old and run down rooms we had. Mom's room #7 was very small and mine #21 was larger but the bathroom was not safe for anyone with mobility issues (like my mom). There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. "Different from regular hotel/motel. Decorated in Mid-Century Modern. Very clean! Units are grouped in small buildings, 4 units to a building. Parking is right outside of the unit. Very convenient. Breakfast was superior to all motels I've stayed in the last several years. 5 min drive to Bar Harbor, but direct access to Acadia by a trail located on property."

"Staff were very helpful, this stay was located super close to all the shops. The room was renovated, clean, the halls needed vacuuming. There are no hotel amenities, the motel provided light snacks in the office, but that’s it. It is a decent, cheaper stay for Bar Harbour if you don’t plan to stay at the hotel much, very basic."
