"Great Location on Main Street but way overpriced for a small antiquated room. TV was mounted on a wall that was almost impossible to see and shower did not work. I didn’t have time to ask for help with shower so I just gave up. Check in and staff were great but still doesn’t justify the price of room. You have to somehow wrangle a parking spot on the street which is a problem during most times. This is just another reason why Canadians travel outside of country for better value."

"This is an older property with a Lot of potential. The rooms were clean, my bed was comfy and because it was not a hot night the rooms were cool because it has no air conditioning. But my room was only $125.00 a night so a good deal if just passing through. However, you do not get the shampoos etc that you find in higher end hotels either. Not a problem. But can I get a drinking glass of any type in my room? Hydration and oral hygiene is not negotiable! My biggest issue however was this. I am a...

"The room was really clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, probably the best I have had in a hotel in a long time. We had Eggs, fries and French bread and everything was delicious. Coffee is great too. Would definitely stay with them again. "

"We went for a couples getaway and had a lovely time. The resort is clean and cozy. We stayed in one of the Terrace rooms and it was large and comfortable, although decor and fixtures were dated. "The Wood View House is a stunningly beautiful B&B. Our hosts we welcoming and helpful; and our bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The house is convenient to downtown, and an easy walk to the dock the boat tours leave from. As a bonus there is a very nice intimate restaurant that serves delicious food at dinner."
