I was born and raised in Rockford, so I have a pretty high tolerance for most people and really any type of situation.—
I booked through Expedia for a 6 night stay. The first room clearly needed a deep clean, with sticky residue on furniture and what looked like mouse droppings.
Around 10pm on my first night (7 hours after I booked into my room) I heard rustling noises. I discovered a stray cat inside my locked second-floor room. I still have no explanation for how the cat got in, I think it...

"The photo looked a lot better than what it actually is. In fact, it's rather misleading. The facility is super old and hasn't been maintained well. Won't say much about cleanliness as people have different standards. The heating (we stayed in early March and it was cold) did not work. The wall unit emitted only luke-warm air the whole time. Staffs were fine. Parking was fine. But overall not a good stay. "
