"The hotel is clean and well maintained. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Denny’s and Burger King are within walking distance. There is no elevator for the second floor rooms. The hotel is dog friendly ($40 a night surcharge). I would return."

"The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and awesome! Officially this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Thanks, Holiday Inn staff for being so awesome :)"

"Book threw a 3rd party and needed a handy cap room. So when we got there the staff and manager was so understanding. All the employees were awesome. Only thing is by that he spa at night two many roaches the big one from out side. And the spa should have been cleaned early next morning: other than that I loved it and didn’t even mind our spider friends who visited our bathrooms and early morning. I old I stay there and recommend it to friends. With out a doubt. It was awesome."

"Very beautiful place. My complaint would be that there was hair everywhere from the previous person or the staff and we couldn’t use the bathtub shown in the picture because there was a tone of shoe prints as if someone was walking around in it. Other than that staff was kind and the welcoming. "

"This was once of the cheapest options for a hotel which is why I chose it. Having said that, the bed had a massive crater in the middle and was one of the worst hotel beds I've ever been on, the dresser was broken, the shower drain was clogged. It was, however, nice that they had a free basic breakfast and overall it was decently clean. It's a cheap option but just be prepared to get what you pay for,"
