"This hotel is in a great location. Parking is nearby for 40€ for three days. Or 25€ per day. We found it to be quiet. The staff were not the friendliest bunch but they did their job. Seemed clean enough. It’s fine for a night or two. Not really special or stand out in anyway. If you’ve seen pictures that looks like the room is in a basement it’s because the windows are very small and look at a brick wall. Zimmer leider sehr klein mit Fenster direkt am Gang zum Innenhof, so dass man dieses nachts nicht geöffnet lassen konnte. Stattdessen haben wir das Zimmer in der separaten Toilette geöffnet, welches zum Parkplatz hinaus ging."

"On our visit to the south of France we decided to stop in Nîmes overnight to see the temples and Roman Coliseum. We chose Hotel de l’Ampitheatre for its proximity to the train station and the sights, and high ratings. We were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and charming, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. It felt like a lovely little Inn. If we travel to Nîmes again, we will not hesitate to return to this hotel"

The hotel has a paradise like garden where we had our breakfast. The restaurant is a real Gourmet Restaurant that is just amazing. The best food we had since a long time.
