"What a weird a** place this is.
This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"Upgraded room with a river view. Room was extremely spacious with a big bed and large bathroom with a bath and a seperate walk-in shower. Large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Room was clean, if a little dated in decor. Spa was nice for an hour or 2.
Couple of issues we had while visiting...
1) No cold water...tried the bath for 20 mins but you had the choice of red hot or red hot. Same with the shower and again with the sink. Shower was also leaking at the back of the unit. In...

"Room was spacious, although the shower was a big let down. The breakfast is also very average, no coffee machines just push down conference containers and the general selection was no better than 3*. The staff were great overall an ok stay for one night, just missing some key basics to push the rating higher"

"We didn't actually stay ate the Ned ~ the reason for the low rating is because when something came up and we weren't able to use the reservation, we decided to gift the room to friends. The Ned refused our request to change the name on the booking. We didn't understand why this would be a problem for them to have a different couple stay there, and in fact would've allowed our friends to experience the Ned and (presumably) offer positive press for them. This doesn't fit the image of a hotel...
