"This was an excellent place to stay, with historic ironworks in front, whitewater in behind, and a real steam-engine train passing by that looked like something out of a story book. There are two flights of 17 steps each, for a total of 34 steps to get to the flat, and then 14 more inside the cottage to get to the bedroom. The unit was immaculate when we arrived, and well-stocked with essentials, except we could not find bedding for the pull-out bed in the main living area. The grounds were...

"Fantastic location close to the centre, docks, town hall etc.
Very clean, beautifully equipped to a high standard in terms of bathroom facilities & with tea, coffee (nespresso type machine) etc.
Sofa converted to sofa bed in my apartment which was fantastic! Breakfast to go is plentiful & means you can eat as early as you like (as breakfast basket is left in the room the day before needed).

"Good value accommodation, pleasant and comfortable in a good location. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped and it was relatively easy to gain access to the property. The proprietor was was helpful when I needed to contact them regarding confirmation."
