"Great place to stay. Friendly staff clean property when I first checked in I realized I lost my credit card here. It was back at the airport. I got a call from the airport and said my card was there. The airport was 11 miles away. I took an Uber to the hotel. Got there. Realize my credit card was missing the owner of the hotel. Heard my conversation while I was on the phone with the lady at the airport saying she had my card. The owner of the hotel said no worries. I will go to the airport and get your card and bring it back here for you. I absolutely cannot believe it that this gentleman the owner of the hotel did that kind act for me. If you’re looking for a nice convenient hotel book the Wingate."

"Room was clean. Comfortable king size bed. Front desk was helpful but didn't offer a cookie. Had a drink at the bar wasstaff very friendly."

"Just ok. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. Not great restaurants near by, Bathroom not that clean… lotion empty. Food not good. I would never pay $18 for this breakfast if they didn’t give you voucher. Would rather eat at McDonald’s. Staff not that helpful when asked for a house keeping item. Made us wait an hour for housekeeping to get there and when they were late , it took only 5 seconds to walk to back room and get it herself. Beds and pillows were good and I liked that room was pretty spacious and had large tv but it was little noisy through walls. Liked that water got hot in shower but wished they stocked more towels to begin with. Only got two bath towels for 3 days stay. No hand towel rod or toilet paper holder which is small detail but feels cheap"

"The staff was friendly, however, the door lock looked and felt like it was ready to just fall apart. The door did not fit the door frame - there was a large 3/4" gap that ran from bottom of door up to around 3' high allowing outsiders to see right into the room. The bathtub would not drain effectively. The water had risen 3" above my ankles after a short shower. There was a large 6" diameter sticky spot on the floor - I decided to keep my shoes on to walk around in the room, as the floor was no cleaner than a dirty city sidewalk. I began to eat an orange offered from the front desk at check-in and it seemed to be quite old - the orange was breaking down inside and did not seem fresh. The room was advertised as a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly like an ashtray. I arrived at close to 11:30PM, so there was not much hope of finding a new room or even another hotel. When I met my work associates the next morning, one of them asked me if I had been smoking, and I don't smoke. The smell had permeated my clothing even in my luggage - I did not unpack to try to limit this contamination. The sheets seemed clean, but the "blanket" was nothing more than a printed sheet, and though it was not noticeably dirty, it did not seem to have been recently cleaned. The AC worked fine, so I was able to set the temperature higher so I was not cold "under the blanket". It was a fairly awful hotel. I will not be returning to this one - too much deferred maintenance. "

"I answered terrible since we were moved to a different hotel based on maintenance issues. We arrived at 3pm and was told to come back at 4pm. When we returned they told us that they would have to move us to another hotel. When I asked why they didn't tell us before when we were there and was told that they didn't know. "
