"Nice place to stay in Chester. I little pricey, but the restaurant next door was a nice surprise and we liked the outside sitting area in back. "

"Didn't try the breakfast. The room was very nice. Good tv and channels. Comfortable bed. Handrail in bathtub was helpful. Different than some comfort suites in that it's a bit more like motel style, but still rooms accessed by a hallway and they do have luggage carts. Nice pizza place right across the parking lot. "

"The view from the room was beautiful. We viewed snow, cap mountains and trees. The staff was very helpful. Our room was completely refurbished and everything was new. The king size bed was very comfortable. The heating and cooling also worked very well."

"When I checked into my room, #109, there was no wash cloth, the toiletries were half full, there was no security lock on the door. The clincher was when I woke up at 3;00 am to use the bathroom. When I went to get back in bed, I noticed what looked like winged ants all over the nightstand, they were in the floor and on the bed. I began looking around and found small ants and more winged I se to coming out of the wall next to the bed. I killed numerous insects, got my stuff together and was out of there by 4:00 am. I took pictures and would love to send them to someone who can do something about it. Will I stay there again or recommend this place? Hell NO!"

"We love staying here and always do when in Susanville. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the bed is super comfortable. We do however miss the microwave and coffee maker in the room. I have a hard time walking and it’s a bit much to go down to the lobby for those items to use. We assumed it’s due to theft. I would like to suggest a library system for a coffee maker and microwave where a deposit is made to use them and returned upon checkout. Parking was accessible as we use the handicap spaces. We felt we lucked out the two nights there and got one. See you next time!"

"Since we had a tire problem on the road, we were unable to make it to Susanville. I was unable to reach either Expedia or the motel. Calling the motel put me into a loop with "Justin". I expect to get charged for the night but it is unacceptable that I couldn't let the motel know I would not be there. Expedia's web site required my password even though I had the itinerary #. Very poor!"

"Sadly, this very nice Inn is flawed by the lack of ANY Wi-Fi and the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. Long hairs covering the floor and in the bath. The staff could have been more accommodating when advised there was no internet at all. The Wi-Fi password is nicereviewplz…….unable to do this as there was no Wi-Fi. Great breakfast."
