"My stay at Birch Hill Suites in Independence, MO was extremely stressful and disappointing. While the room itself was acceptable at first glance, the overall experience raised serious safety concerns. There was an unauthorized individual in my room, and although staff eventually intervened, the situation was not handled with urgency. To make matters worse, shortly after this incident, I discovered that three of my tires had been flattened in the parking lot. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I received little to no assistance or support. The parking area did not feel secure, and the lack of responsiveness from staff during such a serious situation was concerning. Air conditioning and basic room features were functional, but none of that outweighs the safety issues I experienced. I would strongly caution others to consider safety and security before booking here."

"The staff were excellent. Unable to link movie apps from my phone. Staff tried to help, unsuccessfully. Pool was closed. Phone had extremely low volume and the staff and I couldn’t hear each other. After checkout $80 had been changed in addition to the amount charged at checkout. I called and told it was customary and would be refunded if I didn’t have a bar bill or damage to my room. I have to wait 10 business days for a refund. Ridiculous!"
