"The staff were lovely! Very kind and attentive. No really anything bad to say at all except… if you can’t do hard beds… this is not for you. The beds were stiff. The shower went scalding hot every 10 seconds but other than that it was completely amazing. The elephants were very well cared for which was the MOST important part for me. "

Unfortunately the stay wasnt as peaceful as we hoped— the establishment is unfortunately in between two campsites with campers who made a lot of noise singing karaoke till late in the night (past 11pm) and blasted loud music early morning (when we woke up 7plus am for breakfast). "The Kirana Tembok is situated on a very nice spot at the beach. We (2 pax) stayed 7 nights at the very large family house (payed upfrade) which is very nice. The resort has a very nice garden. Kitchen is adequate but not very special. Pool is superb. We need to mention that on the fourth night we had a problem with little biting insects in our bed. Not nice at all (lot of bites) and we moved to another bedroom in the middle of the night. Told the staff next morning and they reacted efficiently...
