New Orleans Marriott
8/10 Good
"We arrived at 3am as the flight was delayed, I texted the front desk to let them know, the night manager responded. We were told the room was over booked and we were staying in the Sheraton across the road in New Orleans. Fortunately because I had let them know the situation they suddenly found us a room ….. free breakfast was comped the next morning, a nice gesture for the misinformed night staff that were working that evening! Overall the room amenities were good, comfy bed and pillows, blackout curtains and a lovey illuminated mirror in the bathroom, we only used the room to sleep and shower."

Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans French Quarter
4/10 Poor
"Rooms are clean, but front desk staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. We paid an extra $500 to upgrade to a “premium” suite in the courtyard, only to find out that it meant a tiny window facing down to the courtyard from the 4th floor but you are looking at another building 15ft across from you, no view. When we inquired about this, we were told the “premium” means free snacks topped up in the room every day. This means 2 small bags of chips, 2 chocolate bars and 1 soda a day. They missed one day even after inquiring. So, we paid $500 extra for a total of $30 worth of snacks in 4 days. It was a scam and the front desk didn’t care to help us with changing it back to a “regular” suite after finding out that premium only means snacks. Our phone was broken as well and they did not swap or fix it after we asked twice.
- buffet is good, but closes at 9:30am. Decent variety of food every day, staff very friendly there.
- valet staff very kind and talkative, even tho we didn’t use valet.
- room was clean (expect service every 2 days).
- overall the actual hotel is fine and close to everything, but, beware of “premium” rooms and unhelpful /rude front desk staff. "

Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans
6/10 Okay
"We stayed in the older tower. Our room was not nice. Carpet was bad, toilet was so noisy, and walls need paint. For the money it was definitely not worth it. The staff was great. The garage for our car was great. The pool was full of bugs. It needs some attention"

French Market Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was charming, as expected. The only issue we encountered was room size - the room we were given was quite small (the bathroom in particular). The owner offered to move us from that Deluxe King room to a 2 Queen Balcony room which was much, much bigger, and had a balcony on Decatur to boot. No onsite bar or restaurant, but you're in the French Quarter so I think you'll make due."

Omni Royal Orleans Hotel
8/10 Good
"I have stayed throughout the years at the Omni
The rooms are a bit dated but I love the location
The jazz bar upgrade in the lobby is awesome
The staff go above and beyond
I just wish the bathroom was upgraded"

Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter
6/10 Okay
"Only 1 floor had ice, which was 2 floors below us. For the price we paid , you would think it would have refrigerator. We had good interaction with the staff. First time in New Orleans. Getting around was pretty easy using the street car system."

Sheraton New Orleans Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly helpful staff, clean, quiet room"

AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter

The Royal Sonesta New Orleans
10/10 Excellent
"Almost everything in the property was awesome! the only thing I would mention is the pool ladders. One was completely ripped off, one had a broken step, And the other one seemed very wobbly when getting in and out of a pool."
