"Good"

"Easy check in and friendly staff. The hotel is very secure. The room was clean and well stocked. I saw a lot of reviews complaining of no microwave or refrigerator but we had both. We were on the top (20th) floor with a view of the Mississippi River. There is a "Destination Fee' of around $25 per day that we weren't aware of but perks were offered that nearly offset the fee. The hotel is attached to a restaurant, Mr. Ed's. The bar is nice and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only had breakfast and it was good but more food than we generally eat. We were given $15 per day toward purchases there. Great location for walking- steps from Bourbon Street and near the hop on bus stop. The WWII museum, the best I've ever seen, is an easy 15 minute walk."

"The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every other day and that was more than enough. The parking was a little on the high side but after just one day we realized it was worth it. It was safe only guests could get into the garage. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Everything was really nicely done. For once I had enough covers without having to call downstairs; checkout is later than most, and food is available pretty much every waking hour. I don't feel like I can take a star off for the exorbitant parking ($48) or breakfast ($38) but want to mention it. New Orleans is expensive! Staying more than one night unlocks some discounts and gives a bit of time to enjoy the amenities. We were only there for the night, unfortunately. The hotel is an easy walk to the river and the French Quarter, and is attached to a mall (didn't go to the mall but it seems to be an upscale one)."

"First time in New Orleans. Lovely hotel. Felt cheated that no ghosts turned up. The only issue is the hot water -none. But I stayed one night only and the staff were helpful. Pool was lovely "
