"This was such a sweet, cozy building in a quiet neighborhood! Well maintained considering its age. The staff are just wonderful and helpful! You immediately feel at home when you walk in the door. There are several places to sit outside, the perfect place to enjoy the “happy hour” they have for the guests every evening. There are a couple of restaurants within a couple of blocks of the hotel. If you are a walker, downtown is only about a mile away. We only used a Lyft once when we were going...

"We absolutely loved our stay. What a wonderful staff from the super sweet valet, desk people, and the bartender (with long hair) were absolutely wonderful. My only complaint is the bartender that is tall with short hair, he was incredibly rude to people and needs additional training. I am in marketing and thought he really was a liability to what otherwise was such kind people. "

"Great hotel option for downtown Asheville. Easy walk to dining and bars. The staff at this location were amazing - so helpful, friendly, and happy to be there. I call this out because it was so refreshing! Our room was spotless and almost sterile which is great for a pet friendly hotel. Parking was easy as well. The nice touch award was the eucalyptus shower steamer pod available in the morning! Will come back. "

"The hotel and room were fine but for $250 a night I expected it to be downtown. I came to see Leanne Morgan at Harrah’s and stayed here because it was walking distance to Harrah’s. It is walking distance and it was fine for me, but not for older people or anyone who minds walking uphill and across busy streets. It is Asheville though so hills should be expected. I walked to Grove Arcade downtown in about 15-20 minutes and I was taking my time. Overall I am happy with the stay. I just think it...
