"The rooms are clean, but when I walked in the room had a funky smell. Thankfully the AC worked and circulated most of it out. The sink also had sewer gas smell coming out of it, which never went away. Overall not a good place to rest your head be gone."

"Warning!! The pet policy is significantly different- more expensive- than what is stated on Expedia's website. It’s NOT $10. It is $50 non refundable pet fee plus $10 per night. Total per fee for one night $60. I had already paid for my room so I would have lost my room payment if I refused. They refused to let me only pay the $10 that is stated as the fee in Expedia. It is a total bait and switch situation. Kitchen had no pots, pans or utensils. Room smelled like cigarettes."

"Not well maintained. Scanty supplies in the room such as coffee packet. Difficult to find the entrance in to the property"

"I had a terrible stay. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and the bed and pillow was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. Also when I came down for coffee at 8:50am, the coffee container was empty and never refilled after I even told the front desk."

"The bar and dinner area had no staff - they kept saying she was late but by 7:30 no one had come in. The staff at check in, however, was kind enough to get drinks for a few of us. Seems like they should have a better back up plan."

"I appreciated the housekeeping staff. They knocked on your door daily to see if you may needed cleaning, always polite. The room was clean, although I usually get a king bed when I stay at hotels they're were only queens available but it was very comfortable. Front desk staff was also polite and helpful. The only issue I had was that for several days I had to listen to a couple in the next room having loud sex several times a day which became annoying."

"This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others."

"The floor was covered in some sticky substance that we removed ourselves with paper towels and water. The sheets and towels were never changed. The freezer has a defrost cycle that drips water to the contents of the refrigerator."

"I always pick property with a pool for my family. The hot tub was funky. That’s always a disappointment. Otherwise everything was very good."

"Older motel kept up reasonably well. My room was small and very basic... no coffee maker, no fridge, etc. Room was clean TV difficult to figure out. I was on 2nd level with no elevator. Overall ok for price."
