"The staff were great. I slept well despite the rattling window and the waterproof mattress. Everything was really clean except the area around the door handles, and the windowsills. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the corridor lights dimmed at night - I was the last one to go to bed in my dorm and the room flooded with light as I opened the door 😬"

"We had a pleasant stay. The grounds was beautiful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. We stayed in the west wing section with a view to the garden. The rooms are not large in size with a double bed. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. "Brilliant property, stayed here with our staff for the weekend while racing at Croft. Not far from the circuit, beautiful little pub, huge rooms, very spacious and clean. Found a little gem with this place and we will be back 100%."

"Quick check in, we asked for a room at the back, we were given room 8. Nice room, comfy bed, pillows a little flat. Lovely shower room with waterfall shower, nice toiletries. It was a very hot day when we checked in, so the room of course was hot, we opened the windows. "On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...
