"Rooms are a bit dated therefore could not consider them a five star clean. Stains on furniture and wear in bathroom. Mildew smell throughout hallways. Some staff were better than others. Personally, I didn’t feel super welcomed or accommodated. Compared to other luxury brands, this resort was not up to par for me. And this resort, markets itself as a luxury resort. I’d recommend trying one of the many other resorts on the island as the island itself is one of the best in the Caribbean. "

"Villa Del Mar provided real value. Steps away from the Grace Bay beach; friendly responsive staff; modern, clean room and well maintained grounds with two pools. Free wi-fi, safe, & parking. Studio had mini fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, glasses, dishes, silverware, etc.
Most importantly, it cost 1/5 of what the Grace Bay Club charges. You have access to the same beach and are located near the same shops and eateries on the main road. "

"The resort is an older resort with classic island charm. The property and amenities make up for the dated furniture in the units. The resort is perfect for a relaxed stay and easily accessible to all other resorts and restaurants via the shuttle or taxi. I will be coming back for a longer stay. The beach is priceless!"
