"Please do not book! Worst experience I’ve ever had. This establishment is well past its prime and I’ve stayed in better hostels and received more professionalism. In a nut shell I was expected to stay in this shabby, run down establishment over a full weekend in a unkept, unclean horrible environment with no television which was falling off the wall and a sticky remote which didn’t work and no signal due to apparent high winds damaging the aerial which meant every tv in the hotel didn’t work....

"We recently stayed at Penventon Park Hotel while visiting family in Redruth. Although we found parts of Redruth itself to be quite a deprived town, the hotel provided a very pleasant and relaxing stay on the edge of town with great parking available. "Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon.
