The location of the hotel was great. Being part of the Marriott brand, I was expecting better services n standards. Called the front desk on few occasions, but the staff didn’t sounded too friendly. I was also upset that my corridor smelled of soured durian husks for almost half of my stay there. ...

I have previously stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Singapore and the service was no less at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou. One of the best. Highly recommend!!!

The twin bed mattress was horrible and I tried changing a room, they didn’t want to do it , I ask to cancel the reservation and in the end they did change my room
