"The location is nice right next to crossgates mall, but when I arrived they switched to a double queen size room when I ordered and paid for a king size bed. To be fair, they attempted to call me to tell me that the king size room wasn’t available but honestly, if it wasn’t available then it shouldn’t have been available to rent out. When I came back downstairs and inquired why I didn’t have a king size bed, the manager came out and arranged for me to have a room with a king size bed. I felt...

"The location of this hotel was perfect - a 5 minute walk to the mall, Costco next door, 10-15 minutes to other shopping and restaurant locations locations (Walmart, TJMaxx, Cheesecake Factory, etc.). The room we had was very nice and spacious - the only downfall was the kitchen and doors had some wear and tear on some doors or appliances. The breakfast was good for a hotel that had breakfast included, it just wasn't as clean or kept up by staff as maybe I would hope. Otherwise, great room and...

"Horrible horrible room with bright light from the parking lot like a spot light on my face all night and NO BLACKOUT SHADES. come on how much does a curtain cost. So gross. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"The staff was SO friendly and very helpful! My room was nice, clean and very comfortable! The food was really good! If it wasn't for some random psycopath outaide shreiking at the top of her lungs at 2am, it would have been a perfect stay!"

"The shower caulking was gross- room 347. It was a quick overnight to catch a flight so not much of a stay-BUT…. The bed is very springy and uncomfortable. To feel springs in my side was annoying! Pillows were squishy but then flattened out! Overall, Not what I expected from a Hilton hotel chain at all!! 😏"

"I travel for work to Albany every week, and Howard Johnson is the cleanest one so far for the price and location"
