"If I could rate it a million stars, I would! This is the perfect, peaceful quiet Portuguese experience. We stayed here because it was close to the wedding venue we were attending. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the pool was the perfect cool temperature with plenty of lounge set for everyone, and the grounds were gorgeous. You can hear chickens and church bells, walked on the cobblestone, and it was very relaxing. There's even a little chapel that I degree not taking photographs of...

"This place and the staff here are AMAZING!
I can’t say anything negative. REALLY! Stay here. And stay for two days longer than whatever you’re planning.
And the breakfast across the street at the LaiLai restaurant… epic. It is not a lame hotel breakfast. It’s made to order. It’s got balcony seating overlooking the river. And the staff there are amazing too.
Shout out to Rita, front desk and concierge at the hotel. She was amazing, responsive, and even rescued us from a failed uber attempt 30...

"Positive.
- Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant.
- breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good

- high level of humidity in the room.
- smell of humidity as well as mold
- the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap
- this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"The property was very well maintained and the staff was super. I had a problem calling to arrange pickup because I did not have international calling. The staff worked with me to through broken communication to arrange a pickup location.
