"What a great, quirky hotel right in the tourist area. When we arrived, by private taxi, we thought the driver had dropped us off at the wrong place... reason being... don't expect a glittery, jazzy, red-carpet hotel entrance. In fact, it's down a side street and looks like a private apartment block especially due to there being mailboxes in the doorway. You will face the first (of many!) flight of stairs with instructions stating Reception on 2nd floor. Trust me, go up! The small reception...

"I couldn’t recommend Zarco B&B enough! I stayed for a solo trip and it was perfect. The location is amazing - right on the marina waterfront in close proximity to shops, bars, restaurants - and taxis/tours are very happy to pick you up right outside. I felt very safe at all times and the 24 hour reception really helped with this (you can come and go as you please at any time). "We loved our stay at Caso do Principe and took advantage of their transportation from the airport and from the hotel to the cruise terminal. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was clean and beautiful with a balcony. Lots of restaurants in the area. We especially enjoyed the park across the street and the restaurant located in the park.
