"I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. "Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. "Amazing stay..staff lovely and good breakfast.. the location was central to everywhere and views were fantastic. The pub gets very busy showing its popularity. The room was great very spacious with everything one needs. The bed was a little weird and felt uneven but didn't stop us sleeping after busy days exploring the area. "I grew up in Teesside in the 80's and live in the US - I fully recommend this hotel. The room was above the Three Tuns pub across the street - I guess they run both properties. My room had new bathroom fixtures and a great walk-in shower. My deal also included a full English breakfast downstairs which I'd recommend if you want to go hiking around Sheep Wash/Cod Beck for most of the day. Brilliant spot to hang out - I will look forward to coming back on future visits to the Northeast anytime...
