We were there for four days and two of them, the seaweed was a foot high, hot and smelly and went into the water so you couldn’t just step over it. "This place is a total jem!!! Suites are two bedroom, one bath, kitchen with everything you need, balcony,livingroom. Very updated, great ait conditiining with ceiling fans. Very close to punta gorda, nice beaches. This property has tons of shops,restaurants. Literally, if you stay here, you wouldn't have to leave, you could just stay in the rooms eat at the restaurants.There's a nice pool, but no beach on the property. I really really recommend this property"

"The Water Street Hotel and Marina is a lovely place to stay. Very spacious rooms with full kitchen and a lovely balcony facing the river. While we were there, it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool area is also comfortable, clean and quiet. This was more like a condo than a hotel. I especially loved the lighted mirrors in the bathrooms. That was a nice touch. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops and don’t forget to get your biscuit from the Biscuit Factory in the mornings....

"Our sixth trip back to the property. We love sitting on the balcony facing the bay watching for dolphins and watching the passing boats. Views are beautiful. Pool is beautiful. "

"Rooms are dated. TV system terrible. Small screens, outdated guide, and poor picture. Rooms cleaned every 7 days not every day. Check in up a stairs. Extra charges for a lot. Resort charge of $15 per person per day, gets access to the pool."
