8/10 Good
"I stay here for events at the convention center. Not only is it incredibly convenient being across the street, but it is a very nice, clean, friendly hotel. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, and the hotel provides in room snacks for purchase. With regards to the in-room snacks, I would highly recommend that the first thing you do when you get into your room is to check the snacks against the list provided. The last two times I have stayed in this hotel, there have been snacks missing and I had to bring it up to the front desk so that I was not charged. This past visit, while great, was a little noisy because I was put on the side of the hotel next to the TriMet train, which was very loud. I never noticed it the last few times I had stayed, so this was quite noticeable. While I did not use any of the amenities this time around, I have been up on the rooftop Terrace for drinks in the past which is very lovely. I did not know they served breakfast, so I missed out on that. The check-in staff and valet staff are incredibly friendly. A+ across the board."

"I needed a place close to the airport as I had a very early flight and I needed one hotel that had shuttle service available at 4:30 a.m., this hotel had all I needed. They were accommodating, provided a wake up call.on time. My next stop on my next trip."

"I'm so glad my husband and I stopped at Skamania Lodge on our journey homeward. First, the not so great: Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:15 and wouldn't be ready for another hour. A great thing is that we were given vouchers for the bar and enjoyed a spectacular view as we sipped our wine. One more not so great: I am hyper sensitive to chemical room fresheners and sure enough, there was one. The great thing is that the bed was comfortable so I slept well despite the odor. And more greatness: There were so many staff members who were all very friendly and helpful."

"We only spent one night, but my 7 year old and 3 year old lived it. We played in the games tent. They gave us free coffee and it was super homey. The beds were pretty soft, but I recommend bringing a pillow if you can."
