"Very nice hotel convenient to some nice restaurants"
Courtyard by Marriott Rocky Mount
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean and comfortable. It was next to the outside dumpster, and we did get briefly woken by trash being taken out or moved around 6 am, but it wasn't a big deal. Yes, we had to pay for breakfast, but it was far more delicious than any free continental breakfast would be. The biggest takeaway about this hotel is how wonderful all the staff are. Sadly her name has slipped my mind, but the lady at the front desk was an absolute star, dealing with issues almost before we even mentioned them. (Not issues with the hotel itself. There were some very rowdy children in the room above us.) The people at the Bistro were super friendly as well. The staff seem to really like each other, which just adds to a lovely sense of community. Thank you for everything!"
Residence Inn by Marriott Rocky Mount

"We ended up staying here on a whim. Checked in late, we were exhausted. The gentleman who checked us in was an absolute Angel. Gave us waters and little bags for the kids to help settle in after a long card ride. So grateful!"

"This was a terrific place to stay! Clean, modern, great staff, very spacious room - and for us, a full refrigerator to keep cold the food we were transporting. Would stay here again anytime!"
